West Yorkshire Wedding Photographers | Rustic Wedding Photographer

When Izzy & Mike booked me to photograph their beautiful wedding at The Craiglands Hotel in Ilkley i knew it was going to be a great day.  I began my day at Izzy’s Mums house in Otley to photograph the bridal preparations. Izzy was joined by her bridesmaids, Mum & Nana. The morning was lovely and relaxed, this makes my job as wedding photographer nice and easy! Izzy was helped into her dress by her Mum.   Soon after Dad arrived and was able to see Izzy for the first time in her stunning wedding dress. 

The ceremony was held at Otley Our lady and All Saints Church. The light inside was beautiful, its so light and bright. Then from there we went to the cow and calf rocks in Ilkley for some bride & groom wedding photographs before heading to the wedding reception at the Craiglands Hotel Ilkley. We were blessed with sunshine all day and got the most beautiful evening sunlight to finish off their couple photographs.

Straight from the ceremony we headed to the Cow & Calf in Ilkley. Being a West Yorkshire wedding photographer means i get to visit some amazing countryside wedding photography locations in Yorkshire and this was no exception. The views over Ilkley were amazing. Who wouldn’t want wedding photographs at the Cow & Calf!? it also gave Izzy & Mike some time together before their reception. When we arrived all their guests were having their drinks reception on the lawn at the Craiglands. 

Just before the first dance and party began we headed out to the reservoir for sunset wedding photographs. The light was golden and the waterside was breath taking. We were very lucky to get the most vivid orange sky.
