Hazlewood Castle Wedding Photography | West Yorkshire Wedding Photographer

Melissa & Nick were married at the stunning Hazlewood Castle Wedding Venue near York. They opted for a summer wedding and celebrated with their friends and family. Hazlewood Castle is a luxury spa wedding venue with views over the beautiful surrounding countryside.  My morning started in the bridal suite with Mel and her girls. Mel chose her stunning Stella York dress at the Yorkshire bridal shop Ava Rose in Silsden. With a delicate open back she also had the prettiest details sewn and embroidered into it. Mel opted for delicate neutral silver jewellery which complimented her Stella York wedding gown perfectly.

I met Nick briefly in the courtyard a little before ceremony, the courtyard is my favourite part of the building. It looks great regardless of season and is my absolute favourite place for wedding photographs at Hazlewood Castle. 

Once ready, Mel and the girls came down the grand staircase inside the castle, the chapel is set in the grounds of the venue so not too far to go!! The chapel and the great hall were both decorated with the most amazing blossom trees which had been supplied and styled by Fulford Flowers. The tall trees lined the aisle perfectly and brought a magical feel to the hall.  Mel had more flower girls and bridesmaids than any other wedding I have photographed.  When photographing weddings at Hazlewood Castle Wedding Photography is such a breeze, mainly because we have so many different locations to work with.  After the meal we headed into the grounds of the castle for some bride and groom portrait photographs. 

Their first dance had been choreographed, Mel & Nick danced together while their guests all looked on! 

As always we ended the night with a few after dark creative wedding photographs.
