Priory Cottages Weddings | Wedding Photography at Priory Cottages | Female Wedding Photographers Yorkshire
I have worked at The Priory Cottages a couple of times in the past so when Hannah & Josh got in touch to ask about their wedding photography I knew it would be amazing. Their wedding was fun & relaxed. The weather could not of been more perfect, ending with a fabulous sunset. The Priory Barn and Cottages are situated near Wetherby. Central to Leeds, York & Harrogate and look out over miles and miles of countryside. I adore photographing country weddings, being a relaxed Yorkshire wedding photographer they fit in with my style perfectly. I started the morning capturing the bridal preparations.
Hair & Make up was almost done so i left for a little while and headed over to the groomsmen who were getting ready in another one of the little cottages. I always offer groom prep too if both are at the same venue.
It was then back to Hannah to finish the bridal preparations. Hannah was such a relaxed bride. She was helped into her dress by Mum.
One of the things I love most about wedding photography at the Priory Cottages are the amount of locations for photographs.
The terraces outside the cottages are private and secluded, therefore, brides are able to pop outside once ready for the finishing touches, perfect for those moments when everyone needs a little fresh air.
The bridal bouquets were created by the fabulous Yorkshire Wedding Florist BlossEm, They were a mix of the most delicate pastel roses and greenery which looked so soft and elegant.
I left Hannah and her bridal party to have a drink and enjoy the last few minutes before the ceremony and headed back over for guest arrivals. Everyone was in the courtyard chatting before being shown to their seats to await the arrival of the bride.
The most iconic shot from this amazing country barn wedding venue is the confetti shot. All the guests are up on the indoor balcony therefore it can be done regardless of the weather.
Josh & Hannah enjoyed greeting all their guests and having a drink. After a little while we started on the small family and bridal party group shots. We headed to a few locations for these to create some different backgrounds. I love using different textures and colours to create wedding albums that are a little different to the norm.
We headed back indoors where everyone was seated ready for the speeches and wedding breakfast. While the room was getting switched around ready for the evening celebrations, It was a perfect opportunity to head into the field for sunset photographs.
