Wedding Photography Sandburn Hall York | Natural Wedding Photographers North Yorkshire | Sandburn Hall Wedding Photography
It was my first wedding at this beautiful Rustic Yorkshire wedding venue. Sandburn Hall is a pretty wedding venue set amongst lakes and woodland just on the outskirts of York. The ceremony room consists of an elegant oak framed structure making it a perfect setting for an intimate rustic wedding. It sits in the middle of stunning Yorkshire countryside which offers so many different backdrops to create soft, light & airy romantic wedding photographs.
Dan & April spotted my work on Instagram, the knew the exact style of photography they wanted which was natural relaxed wedding photography and nothing too posed or staged. April was one of the most organised brides I have worked with, this made it so easy for me to know exactly what they wanted.
April Hired a holiday apartment in the centre of York for bridal preparations with her Mum & bridesmaids. We had a lovely morning, capturing the details of the day and the natural photographs of the girls getting ready.
Aprils french lace wedding dress was breathtaking! The detail was so soft and delicate with little sleeves which just looked so elegant.
I left the girls having a glass of fizz and headed over to their beautiful wedding venue in York. Once there I met with Dan and the groomsmen. The boys were enjoying a drink in the bar and greeting guests as they arrived. We went into the stunning grounds for some photos of them all together.
The girls arrived in style in the Yorkshire based vintage wedding car. Mum walked her down the aisle which was visibly such a precious moment for them to share.
The Wedding Ceremony at Sandburn Hall
Straight from ceremony April & Dan led their guests down stairs where the drinks reception was soon in full swing. We went out into the gardens for the family group photographs and some bride and groom portraits in the woodland area. The girls carried beautiful bouquets created by the very talented Sally at Yorkshire Wedding Florist Serendipity floral designs, Aprils unusual bridal bouquet contained a huge Protea in the centre. Although we were blessed with the prettiest winter sunshine, It was so so cold outside. The Wedding Breakfast
While the speeches were happening I could see the most amazing sunset happening out of the huge windows behind the top table. The colours were vibrant, most importantly this was the icing on the cake. I know how much it meant to them getting the sunset wedding photos !
Straight from the meal the day flowed nicely into first dance. Guests were then treated to a fabulous DJ set and live saxophonist performance by Jonny Ross Music
