Wentbridge House Weddings | Wedding Photographers Yorkshire
The lead up to Adam & Louises Wentbridge House wedding had been pretty wet and miserable so the sight of sunshine and partly cloudy skies was very welcome for everyone on the morning of their beautiful relaxed wedding. Wentbridge House hotel is a lovely Yorkshire Wedding venue with accommodation available for wedding guests so makes it perfect for those traveling from afar who want to have a drink and join in on the celebration.
I joined Louise and her girls early in the morning which meant there was plenty of time to capture the bridal preparations.
Arriving nice and early means I can photograph those all important details. The little things that make the day so special which can so easily be forgotten about. In tradition of something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue Louise had her Mums wedding ring sewn into the lining of her wedding dress. The ring had been delicately stitched in and secured by a blue ribbon.
Louise chose Arianna Bowler Make Up and Kelly Hanks Hair Design to be her West Yorkshire Bridal Hair & Make up Artists. They had already arrived before me and were busy working their magic.
Adam arrived for their wedding at Wentbridge House Hotel with his groomsmen. I popped down to grab a few shots of them getting organised and having a drink in the bar.
The time finally arrived for the girls to get into their dresses ready to go down for the ceremony. The atmosphere was happy and relaxed with lots of emotion from the girls, especially when Dad arrived.
After the wedding ceremony finished the guest were led outside into the pretty Yorkshire wedding venue grounds for the drinks reception. This is a really great opportunity to get some candid natural wedding photographs. We did the more formal family group photographs and some bride and groom portraits before heading inside for the wedding breakfast.
Adam and his groomsmen kept it nice and casual. As always we opted for relaxed wedding photographs rather then the more formal posed ones. This always results in lots of natural laughter rather then awkward smiles!
The delicate bridal bouquets by James at Spirit Florist were an exact match with the blush pink bridesmaids dresses. They complimented them perfectly. I always try to take the time to get some really nice photographs of the wedding flowers. They are a huge part of the planning and make such a huge difference to the bride and bridesmaids photographs.
Louise and Adam led their guests inside for their wedding breakfast. First of all was speeches, they contained lots of laughter and tales of the past.
After deserts we went back outside to get some photographs in the pretty evening sunlight. Unfortunately the clouds had rolled in so didn’t get an amazing sunset we had hoped for however we did get some really nice soft light to work with.
The party was soon underway which meant it was time for first dance and party photographs. Everyone was up, dancing and enjoying the evening so i got to work documenting the party atmosphere.
It was a dry clear evening therefore we were able to pop out into the gardens for a few after dark wedding photographs. I always like to do this because it ends the gallery perfectly.
